2048 Multiplayer is a real-time online puzzle game. This release does not show ads, does not require account registration, and does not collect sensitive personal data such as contacts, photos, microphone, precise location, or payment details.

What we process

We process the nickname you enter, your active room code, gameplay state needed to run live matches, and basic technical connection data such as session identifiers and socket connection status.

How data is used

This information is used to create multiplayer rooms, restore a short reconnect window, and display live opponents during active matches.

What is stored on your device

The game stores local preferences such as nickname, audio settings, session id, and room recovery data in local storage so the app can reopen quickly after interruption.

What is not collected

This release does not use sign-in, analytics SDKs, ad serving, in-app purchases, contact access, camera access, or background location.

Sharing

Gameplay data is exchanged only with the game backend that powers match sessions. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Active match state is temporary. Device-side preferences remain until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
